— Irvin D. Yalom
Hello and welcome.
I hold a BA in Psychology and MA in Clinical Psychology from Anitioch Unversity Los Angeles. I began my journey as a Marriage and Family Therapist working at Antioch University Counseling Center. As an intern, I provided psychotherapy services to the Los Angeles community. I have since worked in both residential and intensive outpatient programs working with adults, teens, and families. Since starting my private practice in 2014, I have deepened my passion for working with individuals and families struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, low self esteem and codependency.
With an emphasis on attachment, family systems and psychodynamic theories, I work in relationship with my clients. I believe it is essential to meet each person where they are- holding space while encouraging a deeper look at their inner world. To uncover, validate and shift your underlying motivations, unmet childhood needs and patterns that no longer serve you. I am honored to work in this field and journey alongside my clients.
